Digital Audio Connected Network
We currently live in the age of the cloud where everyone in the word is connected to each other in one way or another with infinite access to data, streaming audio and video from any network-enabled device. This year at PL&S, Inter-M demonstrated in its booth how all our products could be connected, controlled and stream high quality audio through Fiber, local access or TCP/IP virtually anywhere in the world.
DANTE™
Local multi-channel Digital Network Audio was transmitted and distributed from our source devices through our new DASR-288 Dante™ encoder and breakout box directly to our new D-3000 Dante enabled 1500 W x 2 Power amplifier with DSP speaker processor which powered our new NLA-5 series line array speaker system.
AOE-212N (Audio Over Ethernet)
MP3 full resolution BGM audio was broadcasted to our PMU-N series amplifiers as well as to the ARM-911A using the AOE-212N. The AOE-212N is a two channel in by two channel out Audio over Ethernet encoder/decoder, which uses Inter-M’s own streaming audio with data tunnelling protocol. Audio and data transmitted with the AOE-212N can be networked through LAN or WAN or routed through the internet and received anywhere in the world. Finally, standard RTSP streaming internet radio was received by our PMU-N series amplifiers.
I-RADIO
The PMU-N I-RADIO feature permits the PMU-N to receive standard internet radio broadcast available on the internet. Thousands of Internet radio broadcasts are now available from radio stations all over the world. Giving the listener access to global music and news.
Inter-M’s network connectivity solutions allows for audio systems located anywhere in a building, a campus, city or country to be connected together, share audio programs or transmit audio messages, giving a new meaning to global mass communication.
Inter-M Introduces New Installation Series Line Array.
The NLA-5 is a 2-way dual 5-inch speaker system capable of delivering high power quality sound. The NLA-5 employs high-performance neodymium drivers for superior fidelity and coverage. The NLA-5 is suitable for small to medium sound reinforcement applications. Superb in live sound reinforcement or installed situations. Designed for use in theaters, houses of worship and performing arts centers, the system provides audio professionals with a lightweight, high output array that offers exceptional audio fidelity, excellent directivity and frequency response.
The passive cabinet design is ideal for applications requiring both quality sound at an economical price. Only one 2-channel amplifier can drive up to 8 cabinets. For applications where extended low frequency is required, the NLA-5 can be coupled with the matching NLA-15S subwoofer. The NLA-15S Subwoofer incorporates a single 15-inch front loaded woofer in a vented cabinet with a matching footprint to the NLA-5. The NLA-15s subwoofer cabinet can seamlessly be flown with the NLA-5 or installed in a ground stack. The NLA-15S subwoofer was designed specifically for use with the NLA-5 arrays and is suitable for small to medium sound reinforcement applications.
Inter-M Introduces New Dante™ enabled DSP power amplifier.
The D-3000 is a high power professional amplifier specially designed for the sound re-enforcement market also referred to as SR, which incorporates a DSP, Digital Signal Processor and Audinates’s Dante™ digital audio network. Dante delivers low latency, robust synchronization, I/O scalability, and installation simplicity via standard IT technology. The superior efficiency of a Class-D amplifier means a higher power output that is also more compact than an analog amplifier.
The D-3000 series comes with a real-time digital signal processor and signal processing functions that include EQ, dynamics, and delay. Most importantly, there is no need for separate external processors. Some of the available DSP features include: 5 band Parametric, variable Q Equalizers (PEQ), High Pass and Low Pass Filters, Limiter and Delay, and Input and Gain Control. DSP and channel mapping functions for D-3000 series amplifier are configurable by an HTML 5 web-browser interface.
Inter-M Introduces New Dynamic and Condenser Microphones
Seven new professional microphones were lunched in Frankfurt this year. Five dynamic hand held mics, one condenser hand held mic and an 18-inch podium gooseneck microphones. These new microphones are designed and built in Inter-M’s Seoul Korea factory. These microphones are precision engineered and built using quality components, with rigorous quality control offering value and outstanding performance.
The new Microphone models include the MH50, Hyper-cardioid Dynamic Microphone, with Lockable on/off Magnetic switch, ideal for Live vocal & Speech. The MH80, Cardioid Dynamic Microphone, with extended frequency response, ideal for Vocal & Speech with a lockable on/off magnetic switch. The MC41P, Cardioid Electret Condenser Handheld Microphone, is a phantom powered microphone ideal for vocal, speech & instruments. The MG21, Electret Condenser Gooseneck Microphone comes with an 18-inch gooseneck has a cardioid polar pattern making it ideal for conference & podium use.
Inter-M Introduces New PAC-5600 All-in-One PA system
The PAC-5600 mixer amplifier is a digital multi-zone amplifier system, which offers up to 24 separate zone switching/selection and BGM facilities. The PAC-5600 has 24 zone outputs separated into 2 groups of 12, which are each powered by a 300 watt amplifier for a total of 600 watts of power. The PAC-5600 also includes an AM/FM tuner, a media, and a CD player. The mixer contains 6 microphone inputs on 3 pin XLR, a telephone paging input, and 2 auxiliary inputs on dual RCA sum-to-mono. The output is divided into 2 groups or busses. Any source can be routed to any buss. Allowing two distinct programs to be played. Each buss or group has 12 speaker zone selectors that can be turned on or off. Each speaker zone has a speaker line checker that will return a fault condition if the speaker load changes.
The Inter-M PAC-5600 is both AC mains and DC battery powered, and incorporated a battery charger. The battery charger will maintain a constant charge on the connected 24-volt batteries offering uninterrupted battery backup of the program, paging or emergency messaging.
The PAC-5600 is fully programmable and controllable by web-enabled devices that include tablets and smart phones. The PAC-5600 can be used in shopping centres, banquet halls, office buildings, retirement homes, and apartment complexes.
