After signing a distribution agreement in early 2016 with K-array, Prolites has provided The Notch resort, a dining and clubbing venue in Faqra Heights,Kfarbedian, with the manufacturer’s portable sound systems. The deal comes as the facility opens its new outdoor space to the public, a poolside terracethat regularly hosts live performers, DJs, dance shows and pageants.
The solution provided comprises a KR802 and two KR202 portable systems. The Notch stated that”the products fit the demand for top-quality sound and wide-coverage in a slim design that complements the sophisticated aesthetic.”
With a focus on outdoor spaces, the KR802 is a self-powered, portable system that features a pair of KMT218 dual 18-inch subs, each with a maximum SPL of 133dB (cont) and 139dB (peak). These are matched to two KY102 with four-inch neodymium speaker elements and a maximum SPL of 132dB (cont) to 138dB (peak).
Additionally, the KR202 features a pair of KMT 18-inch subwoofers, each with two channels of 1,000W matched to two KK102, line array speakers with 16 two-inch neodymium magnetic transducers. These provide 130dB continuous, 136dB peak and offer a line array emission wavefront.
The restaurant at The Notch includes an indoor seating area with a delightful atmosphere. In contrast, the outdoor space invites guests to relax at either one of the two with a 360-degree view of Faqra. Complementing the vibrant atmosphere, an infinity pool provides guests a way to cool off during the summer. The units were deployed and arranged around the open air venue in an effort to provide the best acoustic space quality possible.
