GLASPERLENSPIEL STARTS 2017 SUCCESSFULLY WITH VERA36

As a technical service provider, PS Sound GmbH from Lich was commissioned to design and implement this concert by the Glasperlenspiel group in January 2017 in the Hessenhalle in Giessen. The project manager and system engineer Jan-Niklas Volk was responsible for the use of sound reinforcement technology.

As Main-PA, 12 x VERA36 and 10 x VERA S33 were used as well as as frontfill 2 x T24N (60 ° x 40 °). The system was powered by Lab.gruppen amplifiers: 3 x PLM12K44 and 2 x PLM20K44, remotely controlled by LAKE and measured using the Smaart V7 software.

The subwoofer array of VERA S33 was operated in the end-fire mode and from the inside to the outside with appropriate delays to achieve a large opening of the array, which gave the nearly square audience area a best possible bass distribution. Jan-Niklas Volk summed up: “The combination of VERA36 and S33 provided the necessary energy, especially in the low-mid range, for the” electro-pop “presented, as it was exciting when the colleagues of the tour production entered the hall I gave the system to the FOH technician of the band, and it was clear that the system was perfect for this concert, and a successful concert evening with a playful band and a professional crew impressed the audience “.
