Many customers use the CF/CFX series as their go-to point-source loudspeaker when they require excellent performance, within a tight budget. At InfoComm 2016, Renkus-Heinz showed their all new CFXi series. With better drivers, and an all new installation-focused design, this is a great product that will provide similar performance to that of the TRX series, at a lower cost. Product will be available sometime Q4 2016.
Being shown at the show were four new models, CFXi61, CFXi81, CFXi121, and the CFXi151. Of particular interest was the CFXi151, which features the CDT3 horn from the ST4 loudspeaker. This will be an excellent choice for places requiring tighter pattern control, such as gymnasiums. Coming soon will be RHAON-empowered versions, featuring higher-output, Fully Class-D digital amplifiers. The tech in these amps comes from the all new amplifier modules from the Iconyx.
